Comment: The athlete's name means 'Good Daimon'; several people with this name are attested on inscriptions in northern parts of Africa (Egypt, Nubia, Cyrenaïca). This, and his nickname 'the Camel', support the idea that he was from the Alexandria in Egypt. According to SEG metadata, the inscription is found in Fragonisi, West Italy. This is incorrect. The first edition is in BCH 1964, vol. 88(1), p. 186-187 (fig. on p. 185), where it says that a man living in Miraka (nearby Olympia) found the stone in Fragonisi, which is a cemetery in Miraka.
