I. Eph. 2072:
- After mentioning the festival and place, the inscription adds 'the only one not defeated in discus-throwing' (Ὀ]/λυμπείεια ἐν Ἀθήναις, μόνον ἀπαραδίσκευτον', ll. 15-16) which is separated by a comma by the editors, but which does seem to be connected to this victory.
NB: μόνον could also be interpreted adverbially, meaning 'he was only not defeated in discus-throwing' (i.e. and defeated in the other categories of the pentathlon), but that seems like an unlikely phrase in such an inscription.
