| Comment: | Makres (2020), p. 184 argues that this festival took place in Messene with centainty. On p. 199 there is, however, place a questionmark after Messene. Moreover, it is unclear whether it was two festivals (one Asklepieia and one Rhomaia) or one festival (Asklepieia kai Rhomaia). Makres (2020) lists it as two seperate festivals, but it can be an appended festival. Because I based this entry on Makres (2020) I have opted to list them as seperately for now. -PS |
