| Comment: | According to Dio Cassius, 63.14.1, Nero, while competing in chariot racing at the Olympics, fell off during the race and was almost crushed. He could not have won but was crowned victor nevertheless. The same event also seems to have been recorded by Suetonius, who writes that Nero rode a decemiugis (ten-yoked chariot). |
