Comment: | In 326/325 BC, Dioxippus travelled with the royal court of Alexander the Great. At that time, he got into a contest with a Macedonian called Korragos. He defeated him and Alexander the Great was not pleased. Through trickery, he was accused of theft. His Olympic victory should at least date to the period before this episode, though probably not too much earlier. Moretti 1957, no. 458 suggests the 111th Olympiad (= 336 BC).
