Gouw lists him as Aurelius Herminos
Herminos paid 100 denarii in 194 AD to become a member of the athletic guild, he served as a priest at Sardis and his family was active for at least three generation at the gymnasion. However, Herminos was illiterate (as seen by the difficulty he had with writing his own name) and his nickname was probably due to his dementia pugilistica, common for professional boxers.
