Comment: Introduction of the race for mule-carts at the Olympic games. Thersias was the first victor. The race for mule-cars was cancelled again at the 84th Olympiad (= 444 BC). Accrding to the Pindar scholia, however, this discipline was abandoned at the 85th Olympiad (=440 BC). Polemon states that this race was organised only 13 times.
