Comment: Titas is mentioned in an inscription dated to last quarter of the 6th c BC. Place of origin and discipline are unknown. Moretti (1992) suggests Crete, but the name of the magistracy listed is also attested in Gortyna, Sicily, Gela and Camarina. Moretti suggests the victory to have taken place at the 69th Olympiad (= 504 BC).
