| Comment: | Antias, an Isthmian victor, is mentioned in Pindar's 10th Nemean ode as a maternal ancestor of the ode's subject, Theiaios, which is incidentally the reason it is assumed Antias was from Argos. The dating is taken from Farrington (2012), 1.1, cf. p. 101 note 196 for the internal evidence of the poem that underlines Farrington's reasoning. - PK |
