Mentioned in IG XII.5 608 lines 4-5, 8, 22; discussed on p. 70 of Schmidt, D. (1999), 'An Unusual Victory List from Keos: IG XII.5.608 and the Dating of Bacchylides', JHS 119, 67-85. I generally follow Farrington (2012), no. 1.39 and p. 113 notes 248 and 249. Farrington suggests either Ioulis or perhaps Keos as the origin of the victor, as per the finding place of the inscription. As for the dating, Farrington suggests in aforementioned note 248 that perhaps this Liparion is the same as the 'son of Liparos' mentioned in Bacchylides 8th Epinician; the career of this writer stands at the basis of the given dating. Note 249 explains that the source, a victory list, most likely pertains to Isthmian victors, from line 17 onward to Nemean victors; age category is legible, but discipline generally not, although Farrington suggests pugme and pankration. - PK
Liparion son of Liparos occurs twice on the victory list. Based on the interpretation that line 1-16 are Isthmian victors and the rest Nemean victors, I have added these two festivals. - PS
