The inscription of IvO 185 seems to read that the athlete was twice victorious in games of the periodos:
Δ․#⁷#⁷Λ̣․γ̣ονος #⁷[— — — νικήσας]
πυγμὴν δὶς τὴν π[ερίοδον ἀνέθηκε]
Δι[ὶ Ὀλυμπίῳ].
Moretti (1957), no. 625 mentions a fragment which might belong to IvO 185 and suggests the following reading:
Δ[.....]γονος [τοῦ Δεινα Κεφαλ]λὴν νικήσας
πυγμὴν δὶς τὴν π[ερίοδον καὶ cifra ἄλ]λους ἀγῶνας
Strasser (2001) dates the victory to the 2nd part of the 2nd century BC. Siewert & Taeuber 2013, no. 27 do the same.
Strasser (2001) reads the father's name as Π[.......].
All periodos festivals have been entered twice due to the suggested reading δὶς τὴν π[ερίοδον ἀνέθηκε] -PS
