Witness in P.Lond3, 1178. He was Aleiptes and sacred treasurer of the synod
The Papyrus dates to 200-212. he was trainer by then, so presumably not an active athlete anymore.
After his career Glykon became coach and treasurer of the athletic guild - as such he is present at the introduction of Herminos (no. 35) to the guild in 194 AD. Glykon shows how athletes can stay involved in sport despite no longer actively practising themselves (Gouw).
