The inscription mentions πολλῶ[ν] νίκεα πανκρατίω[ν·], thus likely he won a lot of festivals in the pankration discipline. - PS
Moretti (1992) reads Ιακαίνους ̓Αντιοχεύς as origin city. Peek (1986-1987) observes that the sides of the block, where the inscription is engraved, are smooth and that therefore the epigram is the central part of a larger composition that occupied the left and right parts (now lost) of the block.
