| Comment: | For a date Packhum says the inscription postdates the reign of Trajan, Moretti probably the 2nd century AD. JS According to Moretti (1987, 1992) he was a periodonikes. This seems douptfull based on the reconstruction of the inscriptions. From IG IX,2 615 only a victory at Isthmia could be assumed with more certainty. - EK, IL |
