The contest place is not mentioned in the source, but it is assumed that from Nero onward the Isthmia were once again held at the Poseidon sanctuary on the Isthmos (cf. Farrington (2012), 25); the dating is tentative: Farrington (2012), no. 1.167 gives 120-140 A.D., but his note 475 at p. 147 suggests 120-150 A.D.; the dating is based on the fact that the source is a list of gerontes, which was supposedly an annual office, and one of the names on the list also appears in another list (viz. IG 5.1, 111) which can be dated to ca. 150-170 A.D. - if these persons are the same, then Nikasion also must have held office between 150-170 A.D. and his active athletic career might have been between 120-150 A.D., thus Farrington. - PK
