Mentioned in line 37 of Pindar's 8th Pythian Ode to Aristomenes, as a maternal uncle of said Aristomenes; Farrington (2012), no. 1.48 assumes that Kleitomachos is from Aigina, same as his family; it is said of Aristomenes that he followed the trail of his maternal uncles in wrestling, after which a.o. Kleitomachus' Isthmian victory is mentioned. For the dating I follow Farrington (2012), p. 116 note 263, based on the dating of the Ode in relation to the political situation of Aigina and Athens in the 5th century B.C. - PK
