| Comment: | The name Grylos is mentioned by Diodorus Siculus. In P.Oxy 12 the name is spelled as Gryllos. Eusebius and Iulius Africanus, however, call the victor Eurylas. All sources give Chalkis as place of origin. [DvdL] |
