Comment: | Moretti (1957), no. 597 suggests that Sodamas' victory should be roughly contemporary with other victories of around the end of the 3rd and start of the 2nd century BC (despite the absence of clear indications for it). According to Moretti, the victory at the Olympic games might have taken place at the 144th Olympiad (= 204 BC). Sodamas was the first of the Aeolians to win the stadion for paides at the Olympia.
