Comment: P.Oxy. 14, 1643 (298) Aurelius Sarapammon was xystarches dia biou ; the text is a contract to appoint someone to find a runaway slave. PSI 5, 456 (279-282) Aurelius Sarapammon involved in legal conflict on building PSI 14, 1412 ? BGU 4, 1074 , l. 17 = SB 1, 5225 = Feste 96 = P.Col. 13,1 (275) Sarapammon Alexandreus, hieronikes, kapitolionikes paradoxis archon of the synod. Is this possibly the same person? Koskenniemi (1967), p. 79 raises objections. According to P.Oxy. 14, 1643, Aurelius was a periodonikes, but there is no reference to specific festivals. For this reason we can assume he won in the classical periodos, that is Olympia, Pythia, Isthmia and Nemea. If he is the same person mentioned at the end of the pasage then he also won at Capitolia. - EK
