The place of origin is deduced by Farrington (2012) from the find place of Damatrios' victory list, IG V.2 142. As per note 393 in Farrington (2012), no. 1.93 (p. 54), the source might or might not have arranged Damatrios' victories chronologically. If we assume it did, since it starts out with the younger age categories and the order of contests is not canonical, we can tentatively date the individual victories of Damatrios between 213-193 BC. IG V.2 142, being a victory list, gives a lot more events in which Damatrios participated than his Isthmian victories. He won the dolichos for men in the Isthmia 5 times - three times mentioned separately in the same inscription, one time mentioned with the note 'dis'. - PK
