Comment: | According to Moretti, Megakles was may have been the ?????? ??? ???? in 428/427 BC (IG I(2), 237-239, 261-263). He also might have been the son or grandson of Megakles, son of Hippokrates, members of the Alkmaionids, who won at the Pythia in 486 BC (Pi. P. 7). (But Megakles, son of Hippokrates, also won once at the Olympia , five times at the Isthmia and twice in Kirra (Phokis) not mentioned by Moretti it seems). |
