The five Olympic victories mentioned by Pausanias were written below a bronze statue standing in the peribolos of a sanctuary for Asklepios in Titane (near Corinth and Sikyon).
The honorary citizenship of Epidauros is found in the SEG text. The one in Rome is given by Gouw based on his tria nomina.
Gouw thinks the athlete might also have won competitions at Rome and Epidauros, because of the athlete's honorary citizenship at these places. As these victories are not mentioned in the inscription, they are left out. Received a bronze statue in the sanctuary of Asclepius in Titane, as described by Pausanias. During his career he obtained five Olympic victories. The possibility of Titus as praenomen derives from his victory at the Capitolia in Rome, where he received citizenship (Gouw). In total, 8+ victories: Olympia (5), Sparta, Epidauros (?), Rome (?).
