Based off of the description by Paus. 6.14.1-2; the dating is based on Farrington (2012), no. 1.9 and p. 102 note 204, viz. between the start of the Nemea as a panhellenic festival and the reference to him by Pausanias. Pausanias mentions three victories, presumably all in men's wrestling: Olympia, Isthmia, Nemea (though for the latter two the discipline is by implication, it seems reasonable, and Farrington also gives 'pale andron'). - PK
Acording to Farrington, if Pausanias is using the ethnic term Rhodios to describe someone from the city and not the island in general, then Nikasylos’ victories postdate 408 / 407 BCE. For the lower date, statues noticed by Pausanias at Olympia tend not date later than the end of the 4c BCE. Nikasylos’ Nemean victories may then date to between ca. 407 and ca. 301 BCE. - EK
