Comment: The interpretation of the inscription is a bit problematic. Either Diophanes won the Isthmia twice, or he won it once, and his grandfather (names 'Stephanos') won it once. See Farrington notes 278 and 681. In the database, two victories are entered under the name of Diophanes, son of Empedion.
