Mentioned in Paus. 6.2.10-11, Damiskos is said to have won the boys' stadion at Olympia at the age of 12, in 368 B.C. according to Moretti (1957), no. 417, which is the basis for the date range here followed and suggested by Farrington (2012), no. 1.69 and p. 123 note 296 for Damiskos' career; Pausanias mentions two additional victories: the pentathlon at both the Isthmian and Nemean games. - PK
Damiskos won his victory at the age of twelve, after the Messenians had returned to the Peloponnese (i.e 369 BC). The victory therefore took place at the 103rd Olympiad (= 368 BC). Later Damiskos would win two pentathlon-victories at the Nemea and the Isthmia. - DL
