Comment: The inscription is erected for the athlete's son, who has the same name (Farrington for some reason added the son's nickname to the athlete's name). The father is mentioned as a periodonikes in his inscription. According to the inscription, the son's origin was Phlya, an Attic deme. We can assume that the father's place of origin was therefore also Attica.
