How to use the Disciplines database

This list contains the names of all the disciplines that are in the database. Each discipline is recorded by a transliterated Greek name (e.g pugme), as well as by an overarching category in English (e.g combat sports). You can sort by both categories.

In the search box (top left) you can type in any search string: e.g. a name of a discipline or overarching category.

The list contains only basic information, but if you click on an individual discipline, you will be guided towards the record for this discipline. There you will find all the information we have, including lists of athletes/performers who have won in this discipline. Soon you will be able to find also a list of festivals where this discipline is attested. Soon registered users will be able to add their own comments.
